Biography
He graduated from the Saratov Agricultural Institute , candidate of agricultural sciences.
- 1962-1965 - an agronomist, managing the department of the Volzhsky state farm of the Engels district,
- 1965-1969 - Manager of the farm "Combine" in the Saratov region,
- 1969-1971 - the chief agronomist of the collective farm "May 1",
- 1971-1974 - Director of the state farm "Forest" Tatishchevsky district of the Saratov region,
- 1974-1975 - Head of the Department of Agriculture of the Tatishchevsky District,
- 1975-1978 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Tatishchevsky District Council of People's Deputies,
- 1978-1982 - First Secretary of the Samoylovsky District Committee of the CPSU,
- 1982-1986 - First Secretary of the Petrovsky City Committee of the CPSU,
- 1986-1988 - First Deputy Chairman of the Agro-Industrial Committee of the Saratov Region,
