Content
Biography
He graduated from the Pedagogical Institute in Olomouc , then continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague , where he studied under Maximilian Pirner . His mentor was Ganusz Schweiger , a well-known Czech artist and children's book illustrator, who had a great influence on his life and work. In 1907, Caspar married Zhitka Repkova in Velehrad . During his stay in Western Bohemia, he collected material to illustrate the book of I. Sh . Baar . He died of a heart attack suddenly during a trip to Lake Chertovo near the town of Zhelezna Ruda .
He was buried at the Vysehrad cemetery in Prague.
Creativity
Known for his illustrations to the works of Czech and foreign authors, in particular, Bozena Nemtsova , Alois Jirasek and others.
