Evans Wise ( born October 23, 1973 , Port of Spain , Trinidad and Tobago ) is a Trinidad football player and midfielder known for playing for Tampa Bay Mutini and the Trinidad and Tobago national team . Member of the 2006 World Cup .

Club career

He began his career at an American college. In the mid-1990s, Wise was one of the first Trinidadites to enter the American MLS . After playing there for several years, the midfielder moved to the German Bundesliga club “ Ulm 1846 ”. In it, he spent 9 games. After the departure of the team from the Bundesliga, Wise remained in Germany . He spent several years in the lower divisions of the German championship. Completed his career in semi-professional American teams.

Speaking at the position of the left midfielder, Wise was distinguished by his dribbling. He also perfectly mastered the art of a cross from the flank [2] .

Team Career

He was a member of all the youth teams of Trinidad and Tobago. In 1995 he made his debut for the main team of the country . At the 2006 World Cup, Wise got into the team’s bid at the last moment, replacing the injured Silvio Spanna . At the mundial, he twice replaced in matches against England and Paraguay [3] . After the championship was no longer called into the composition of the “Warriors' juices”.
