Biography
Vasily Brusyanin was born on September 1 ( 13 ), 1867 in Bugulma . Grew up and studied in Ufa , worked as a surveyor. He made his debut in the literature story " New Year's Day in the Bashkir village ." Later he settled near St. Petersburg in the village of Neivol near Mustamäki (now the Gorky village in the Vyborg district of the Leningrad region ) [1] .
From 1903 to 1905, he was the editor of the Russkaya Gazeta .
In the years 1905-1907 participated in the revolutionary events ; in the period 1908-1913, he was forced to emigrate [2] .
He put a number of stories and essays in "Life", "New Word", "Journal for All", "Northern Messenger" and other print publications. In 1899, under the pseudonimo V. Brus, separately published in St. Petersburg the book "Poets-Peasants" [3] .
He died of typhus in the civil war on July 30, 1919 in the village of Netruzh Oryol province.
