Espinosa as part of Elche

Espinosa is a pupil of Barcelona . In 2011, he graduated from the club’s academy and for another three years he played for the Barcelona B back-up team. Due to the high competition in the main team, Javier did not have a chance to make his debut in the elite. In the summer of 2014, Espinosa’s contract expired and he transferred to Villarreal as a free agent, signing a contract for three years [2] . On August 24, in a match against Levante , Javier made his debut in La Liga , replacing Cani in the second half [3] . On September 21, in a duel against Rayo Vallecano , he scored his first goal for a new club [4] . On October 10, in a Europa League match against the Cypriot Apollo , Espinosa made a “double” [5] .

In early 2015, Javier transferred on loan to Almeria . On January 11, in a match against Sevilla , he made his debut for a new team [6] . On April 11, in a duel against Granada, Espinosa scored his first goal for Almeria [7] . In summer, Villarreal rented it to Elche . On August 30, Javier made his debut for the new club in a match against the “ Athletics ” from Bilbao . [8]
