Ageev, Dmitry Mikhailovich

From a family of employees.

In 1927 he graduated with a degree in architecture from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Siberian Technological Institute in Tomsk. Already in his student years he was a member of the Association of Modern Architects (OCA).

In Novosibirsk, he worked as the head of the design department of the Sibproject and the head of the design department of the headquarters of the Siberian Military District (SibVO). He built a number of residential, public and industrial buildings in the city.

In 1934, he became one of the initiators of the creation of the branch of the Union of Soviet Architects (SSA) in Novosibirsk. From February 22, 1939 to March 31, 1940, Ageev was the chairman of the board of the SSA of Novosibirsk.

In October 1940 he left for Odessa.

After the end of World War II he served in Germany, in the city of Schwerin , and then in Rostock .

Upon returning to the USSR, he lived in Kirov (Vyatka).
