Biography
Born in the village of Znamenka, Kirovgrad Region, Ukraine. In 1947 she graduated from the Kirovograd Pedagogical Institute , after which she worked as a teacher of geography in the Mushorinsky secondary school in Znamensky district of the Kirovograd region. In 1955 she joined the CPSU. In 1957 she moved to Elista .
In 1959 she was appointed director of the new Elista school number 3. The pedagogical team of the new school made socialist commitments to achieve a high level of educational and educational work, to expand the material base of the school. Under the leadership of Nadezhda Sergienko, these tasks were solved. The school had established carpentry and metalworking workshops, home economics, chemistry and physics offices. In 1967 she was awarded the honorary title "Honored Teacher of the Kalmyk ASSR". By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of July 1, 1968, she was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Sickle and Hammer gold medal.
