The list shows statistical indicators from 1959, when the team was first included in the participants of the USSR championship , to the present. It provides information about all the club's achievements in major tournaments, as well as about the team's top scorers in each season. Bold scorers were also the top scorers of the tournament of the season. The list is compiled on the basis of the information of the international amateur organization that collects statistics on football Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF) and its Russian-language analogue of the Club of History and Statistics Football Lovers (CLISF) , as well as on the basis of the print media presented in the section "Literature".
Currently, the 58th season of the club in the championships of the USSR and Russia has been completed. The highest achievement of FC Spartak-Nalchik for all time is the sixth place in the Russian Championship 2010 , as well as reaching the quarterfinal of the Russian Cup 2007/08 .
A Brief History
Professional football club "Spartak-Nalchik" was founded in 1935. From 1936 to 1952, the team performed exclusively in republican competitions, and from 1952 to 1956 took part in the draws of the RSFSR championship [1] .
The team of football masters of class “B” - “Spartak” was staffed in February 1959. The backbone of the team was local football players. Vladimir Suetin was appointed the head coach of the team, his assistant was the USSR master of sports Artyom Markarov [2] .
1965 was a landmark for the Nalchik collective. The Nalchans brilliantly spent the season [2] , having won the zone tournament. The final games of the RSFSR championship were held in Nalchik. Spartak defeated the Saratov “ Falcon ” and the Ufa “ Builder ” with the same score - 3: 0, and, having already achieved the right to participate in the championship games in the second group of class “A” , they won Kazan “ Rubin ” - 3: 1 [3] . As a result, the players of Kabardino-Balkaria scored 21 goals in the final games of the RSFSR championship, and conceded a total of 1 [2] .
After the 1970 championship, the four strongest teams from two Russian zones held a tournament in Nalchik on the principle of "each with each" for the championship of the RSFSR. Nalchans for the second time in their history won the title of champions [4] .
The 1972 season was the debut for the Nalchik team in the first league of Soviet football . In total, the Nalchians spent seven years at this level from 1972 to 1980 with a break for 1977 and 1978, when the team played in the second league , having won the zonal tournament twice.
The next eleven years from 1981 to 1991, the Nalchik “Spartak” was a constant participant in the championship of the USSR among the teams of the second league. In the period from 1959 to 1991, the club from Nalchik took part in 33 draws of the USSR football championship , 15 of which (1959-1962; 1966-1969; 1972-1976; 1979-1980) the Nalchians played in the second most important league [5] . The best achievement here for them was 10th place in 1959 and 1966. The remaining 18 seasons Spartacists spent in the third most important league of Soviet football. The best achievement here was the first places in the zonal tournament in 1965, 1971, 1977 and 1978, as well as second places in 1970 and 1985. Twice Spartacists became third in the championship of the second league in 1987 and 1988.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the former republics that were part of it began to hold their own independent football competitions. The Russian football championship was created from scratch. Nalchiksky “Spartak” was included in the composition of the championship of the western zone of the first league [6] . At the end of the 1993 season, the Nalchians left the first league . Two years later, having won the zonal tournament in the western zone of the second league, they returned to the country's second most important league.
According to the results of the 2005 championship, the Nalchians for the first time in their history won the right to speak in the top division [7] . For the round before the championship, in the home game against the Novosibirsk “ Chkalovets ” the Nalchians won with a minimum score. The author of the winning goal was Roman Kontsedalov [8] [9] .
From 2006 to 2012, the Nalchians with varying success played in the major league of Russian football . The highest achievement here for the Spartacists is the sixth place they won in 2010 , as well as reaching the quarterfinals of the Cup of Russia 2007/08 . According to the results of the 2011/2012 season, the club took 16th (last) place and for the first time in its history left the top division of domestic football.
Despite the demotion, the team managed to maintain the backbone of the team. The head coach Timur Shipchev and the players were tasked with returning to the Premier League [10] . Having scored 53 points, they took third place in the final table, which allowed the team to take part in butt games for the right to play in the Premier League against Samara's “ Wings of the Soviets ” [11] . Matches ended in defeat. Nalchans lost with a total score of 2: 7.
On January 9, 2014 it was announced that the club was withdrawn from the FNL championship because of financial difficulties [12] , but later, thanks to the fans of the team and the leadership of the republic, a way out of this situation was found [13] .
On May 29, 2014, the club turned to the FNL with a request to exclude the team from the number of participants in the tournament due to the lack of funding opportunities for playing in the first league of Russian football [14] .
