ZDP (from the Incendiary Smoke Gun ) is a Soviet engineering munition designed to ignite combustible and flammable materials in buildings and in the open, as well as for the operational installation of smoke screens [1] [2] . It can be powered by a shot from a personal weapon or by throwing by hand.
Design
In appearance, it is a hollow metal tube with a capsule containing an aerosol-forming composition, a powder engine, an igniter and an exhaust cord.
