Tunisian National Agronomy Institute

Tunisian National Agronomic Institute ( Arabic: المعهد الوطني للعلوم الفلاحية بتونس ) is a training institute, part of the University of Carthage, under the joint supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture , the Ministry of Higher Education of Tunisia and the Ministry of Information Technology of Tunisia .

It was founded November 17, 1898 and is the oldest engineering educational institution in Africa . It has more than 4000 graduates, including more than 2,500 educated since Tunisia gained independence , as well as teaching graduate students, issuing a master's and doctoral degree .

During the French protectorate, the institute was called the Agricultural School of Tunisia. With independence, he transformed into the Higher School of Agriculture of Tunisia, then - into the National School of Agriculture of Tunisia with a three-year registration status.
