History
The street is named in memory of the ataman of the Don Cossacks and the leader of the peasant uprising Stepan Razin .
The street was formed in the second half of the XIX century and was first marked as “Cemetery Street” on the Plan of the regional city of Vladikavkaz, Terek region from 1911. It got its name from the Nearby (Muslim) cemetery located nearby. On June 3, 1952, the Dzaudzhikau City Council renamed Kladbischenskaya Street into "Stepan Razin Street . "
