Gnei Manlius Cincinnatus ( Latin Gnaeus Manlius Cincinnatus ; d. 480 BC) - Roman politician and military leader, consul 480 BC e.

The first representative of the Manliev clan to reach the consulate. In the historical literature, it has been suggested that the Cincinnatus cognominism , mentioned by three late sources ^[2], arose as a result of an error, since in addition to this case it was worn only by members of the Quincius family. F. Münzer suggested that, in fact, Mannius is the cognitive Wolson , and Cincinnatus was called the consul-suffix appointed in his place. R. Broughton disputes this assumption, pointing out that under the corresponding year, there is not enough space for the consul-suffix on the stone where the Capitoline fasts are carved, and not a single source mentions it ^[3] .

In 480 BC. e. was consul along with Mark Fabius Vibulan .
