Biography
Diyarov Karim Mukhamadeevich was born on January 15, 1910 in the village of Basayevo, the Orsk district of the Orenburg province (now the Baymak district of the Republic of Belarus). I learned to play the kurai from the curator Abdrakhman Basayev and at 15 I played well on the kurai. He received primary education in his native village, received a 2nd degree education in the village of Temyasovo.
In 1929, together with the children of the poor, he was sent to Ufa for preparatory courses at a university. In Ufa, he met with People's Artist Giniyat Ushanov [1] .
In 1942, he participated in battles on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War as a telephone operator, paratrooper, and sniper. He had military awards.
He graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Bashkir State Pedagogical Institute. K.A. Timiryazev in Ufa.
He worked since 1923 as the director of the Isyanovskaya school, since 1932 he was the director of the 1st Turkmen primary school, in 1937-1942 he was the director of the 2nd Itkulov secondary school in the Baymak district of the BASSR. In 1946-1975 he worked as a teacher in schools in the Baymak district.
He learned to play kurai from kuraists A. Khusainov, G. Ushanov. Being a virtuoso of playing kurai, he participated in the tour of musician G.S. Almukhametov in Bashkortostan and the cities of Siberia as an accompanist.
Laureate of folk music shows and contests, he created kurai school ensembles, often performed on the radio.
Diyarov Karim Mukhamadeevich is known as a collector of musical and literary folklore. Records of 130 Bashkir melodies are stored at the Institute of History, Language and Literature of the Ufa Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Ak Yauryn Sal Berkut, Abdrakhman-canton, Baik, Bayas, Buranbai, Kakhymturya, Saptar-yurga, “Singrau Torna”, “Ural”, etc.) performed by him with lyrics. In 1910, in the Baymak district of Bashkortostan, he recorded the fairy tale Crane Song . He later wrote and published the book “Ringtones of the Gray Urals”.
