Gavrila Petrovich Ulanov - Major General of the Russian Imperial Army, 1st Commandant of the Dinaburg Fortress .
Biography
Born in 1753. He died in January 1819 in St. Petersburg, was buried at the Volkovsky Orthodox cemetery in St. Petersburg.
Service
- He began his service on November 12, 1772 in the Ladoga Canal Battalion.
- September 7, 1802 was awarded the rank of Major General [1] .
- October 7, 1810 he was appointed commandant of the construction of the Dinaburg fortress.
- September 3, 1813 dismissed from the post of commandant of the Dinaburg fortress.
- January 18, 1819 by the Highest order, he was excluded from the lists of the dead [2] .
