History
At the end of the XII century, the book was translated into Old Russian and became widespread in Russia . The collection had a strong influence on the spiritual enlightenment of the ancient Russian reader. In the 14th century, another South Slavonic translation of the Pandects was made. Numerous lists of Pandects have been preserved in various places in Russia. In 1595, 12 of the 63 chapters of the Pandects were published in Vilna . At the beginning of the 17th century, a printed publication was launched in Moscow of the Slavic version of both Nikon's well-known works, Pandektov and Tactikon , but this enterprise was suspended at the very beginning. In 1795, in Pochaev, both works were printed according to the manuscript of 1670, the Pochaev edition was printed in 1889 in Moscow. Pandects have also been translated into Arabic in antiquity, but the Arabic text has never been published. Only fragments are published from the Greek original Pandektov. Unlike the South Slavic list, the Old Russian list of the XII century was never published until 1998, when K. A. Maksimovich published both texts: the original Greek and Old Russian of the XII century.
