Konstantin Antonovich Bortnovsky (February 2, 1909, Kozelsk, Kaluga province - July 10, 1981, Moscow) is a Russian scientist, a specialist in the development of nuclear weapons. Twice winner of the USSR State Prize .

Biography
He graduated from the Military Academy of Mechanomechanical Forces (1934). In 1934-1954, design engineer , deputy chief designer - chief engineer of the design bureau of the Ministry of Defense Industry. During the war, he was an engineer for armament of the 42nd IAP, and his rank was a military engineer of rank 3.
In 1954-1976 worked at VNIIA (All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Automatics) as the head of the machine shop, and as the deputy chief designer. Candidate of Technical Sciences.
Since 1976, retired.
