Biography
Polina Ragimova was born on June 5, 1990 in the Uzbek city of Fergana in the family of a military man. Maiden name - Petrashko. Polina’s sister Olga Doronina (Petrashko) was also a volleyball player, which contributed to Polina’s interest in this sport. First started volleyball in the Ukrainian city of Zaporozhye, under the guidance of coach Lyubov Nikolaevna Perebeynos.
At the age of 16 she moved to Baku . In autumn 2011, as part of the Azerrail club, it made its debut in the Champions League, becoming with 206 points the most effective participant in the group tournament. [one]
Polina’s hobbies are reading books, knitting, collecting magnets from countries and cities where she’s visited, doing tennis and swimming. [2]
Since the 2014 season, she played for the South Korean Hyundai team. [3] Entered herself in third place for world record holders with 54 points in one game.
