Institute History
The All-Union Scientific Research Institute for the Transportation, Storage and Use of Petroleum Products VNIITneft was established by a resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR on April 13, 1950 .
In 1954, part of the laboratories of the All-Union Scientific-Research Institute for the Transport, Storage and Use of Petroleum Products (VNIITneft) was merged with the All-Union Scientific-Research Institute of Artificial Liquid Fuel and Gas (VNIIG), as a result of which the All-Union Scientific-Research Institute for Oil Processing was established VNII NP [1] .
