Vasily Yakovlevich Dashkov (b. Approx. 1620 - d. 1680) - Russian statesman, governor, duma nobleman (1676). Son of Jacob Avksentievich Dashkov .

First mentioned in documents of 1639 as a solicitor, was present at the meeting of the Persian ambassador. Since 1647, the steward.
He traveled to the sovereign (1650-1652), was in the service in Lithuanian cities (1654-1655), a judge of the Moscow and Vladimir Court orders (1659-1661). The ambassador to England (1664), spent the night and slept at the tomb of Tsarevich Simeon Alekseevich (1669), and was sent to prison for parochialism with Pushkin (1672).
In 1672–1675 the third governor in Smolensk , in 1675–1676 the governor in Dorogobuzh . In 1676 he was granted the Duma nobles, served as a judge of the Stone Order.
In 1679, he tonsured monks under the name Joachinth and died the following year.
He was married to Matrena Timofeevna Likhacheva (d. 1700).
