Poletaevsky district is an administrative-territorial unit of the Voronezh and Tambov regions, which existed in 1935-1958. The center is the village of Poletaevo .

Poletaevsky district was formed as part of the Voronezh region on January 18, 1935. It included the Bolshe-Dobrinsky, Gryazno-Dvorikovsky, Kalinovsky, Kuleshovsky, Malo-Danilovsky, Novo-Nikolsky, Pavlovsky, Poletaevsky, Sergievsky and Troitsko-Roslyaysky village councils of the Tokarevsky district .
February 4, 1939 Poletaevsky district was transferred to the Tambov region.
September 16, 1958 Poletaevsky district was abolished, and its territory was transferred to Tokarevsky district .
