Career

Minori Sato began his professional career in 2009 as part of his hometown team, Zespakusatsu Gumma , who played in the Second Division of the J-League . After spending one and a half seasons in this club, having played in twenty-two matches and not scoring a single goal, he moved to the USA, where he signed a contract with Indiana Invaders. In the same year he moved to the Mexican Puebla . As part of Puebla, he played in only one match and soon left the club.

In 2010 he moved to Europe and played in the Latvian “ Gulbene ” as a lease. As part of Gulbena, he played in seven matches and scored ten goals, soon another Latvian club, Ventspils became interested in him, and bought it from the Mexican team. As part of Ventspils, he played a season and a half and won the Latvian Cup with the club [1] .

In August 2011 he moved to another Latvian club - Riga " Skonto ". As part of Skonto, he played for two seasons, played in forty games, scored 4 goals. Soon he moved to Belarus and signed a contract with Brest Dynamo . Dynamo played one season (25 matches, two goals).

In March 2014, he signed a two-year contract with the club from Uzbekistan - the Tashkent Bunyodkor [2] .

In August 2019, he signed a contract with the Russian club SKA-Khabarovsk , becoming the first Japanese football player in the history of the club [3] .
