The following information about the regiment appears only at the end of July 1941: on July 24, 1941, the headquarters of the artillery of the Western Front ordered the 120th howitzer artillery regiment to be equipped at Vyazma at the expense of the 375th howitzer regiment, which indicates that the regiment left Belarus with material part.
