Biography
From the nobles, the Roman Catholic confession. A graduate of Vilnius University , in 1814 he entered a Volyn gymnasium (later a lyceum) as a chemistry, mineralogy and geognosia teacher, where he also taught technology. After the opening of the Imperial University of St. Vladimir ( 1834 ) was appointed an ordinary professor of chemistry. He headed the university chemical laboratory and mineralogical office. He was elected dean of the Physics and Mathematics Department of the Faculty of Philosophy (1837).
In 1839 , after 25 years of service, he retired. He was awarded the Order of St. Anne of 3 degrees (1835) and insignia for immaculate service for 20 years (1830) and 25 years (1835) [1] .
He left many manuscripts in the manuscript, including Pamiętniki z czasow Stanisława Augusta, mentioned by Lelevel in Histoire de Pologne (vol. II, p. 195). In 1837, Zenovich handed over to the Academy of Sciences the work “On the need to change the general foundations of sciences, all theories and systems” and expected only the approval of the academy in order to publish a new theory of chemistry, but there was no answer. His "List do Henryka hr. Rzewuskiego obejmujący pomysły autora about całym obrebie nauk przyrodzonych "etc. (Vilno, 1851 ).
