Alexei Dmitrievich Petrov ( 1863 - after 1917) - Lipetsk district leader of the nobility, member of the III State Duma from the Tambov province .
Biography
Orthodox. Hereditary nobleman of the Tambov province. Landowner of Lipetsk Uyezd (1,500 dessiatines ).
He received his secondary education at the Tambov gymnasium , and a higher education at the historical and philological faculty of Moscow University .
After graduating from university in 1886, he served as a history and geography teacher at the Tambov Gymnasium for ten years. In 1896 he was appointed zemstvo chief to Lipetsk district. In the last post he was before being elected to the State Duma, replacing since 1900 the county leader of the nobility. In addition, he was elected the vowel of the Lipetsk district and Tambov provincial zemstvo meetings , as well as the chairman of the Lipetsk city duma. He headed the Lipetsk department of the " Union of the Russian people ."
In 1907, he was elected to the III State Duma from the 2nd Congress of City Voters in the Tambov Province. He was a member of the Octobrist faction, since 1909 - in the group of right-wing Octobrists. He was a member of the commissions: in the direction of legislative assumptions, in public education and in resettlement. He was known for harsh criticism of the left deputies.
In 1911-1917 he was elected the Lipetsk district leader of the nobility .
In 1912, he was elected to the IV State Duma from the Congress of Landowners of the Lipetsk Uyezd, but was balloted by the provincial electoral assembly.
Fate after 1917 is unknown. Was married.
