History
Formed in the spring of 1941, it was deployed in the Vitebsk - Orsha - Mogilyov region , defending communications (including bridges across the Dnieper River ) and important enterprises from air attacks.
As part of the army during the Great Patriotic War from June 22, 1941 to October 20, 1941.
From the first day of the war, it reflects enemy air raids, then retreats into the interior of the country. So, in the autumn of 1941, the 324th separate anti-aircraft artillery division was on the defensive of the headquarters of the Western Front in Perkhushkovo , while it consisted of three medium-caliber batteries, two small-caliber batteries, an anti-aircraft machine gun company and a searchlight company. [1] It is possible that the remnants of the brigade area at the end of the summer of 1941 were reduced to this division.
