Biography
Zoya Bolshakova was born on December 25, 1912 in Vilnius . In 1955 she graduated from the Belarusian Institute of Physical Culture [1] .
In 1947 and 1948, Bolshakova became the USSR champion in cycling in the team race on the track, and in 1950 she became the USSR champion in cycling in the road racing team. Since 1951, she was the head coach of the women's team of the Belarusian SSR in cycling. In 1952, Bolshakova was awarded the title of Honored Master of Sports of the USSR [1] .
Since 1956, Bolshakova worked as a speed skating coach and a senior coach of the Belarusian SSR team, and since 1971 she worked as a youth sports instructor at the Minsk Regional Council of the FST Dynamo. In 1965, she was awarded the title of Honored Coach of the Belarusian SSR, in 1973 - Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Belarusian SSR.
She died on January 16, 1996, was buried in the Military cemetery of Minsk [1] .
