It is located 6.5 km south-west of the center of the rural settlement - the village of Zabituy .
Name Origin
The name Narena probably comes from the Buryat narin - “narrow”, “thin”, narin goal - “narrow valley”. The village is really located in a narrow valley, where a small stream flows [2] .
