Flag of Terengulsky district

“A rectangular double-sided panel of red color with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, bearing a green strip at the bottom with a maximum width of 4/9 of the width of the panel, smoothly bent in the middle to 1/4 of the width of the panel. In the center of the red part of the cloth is shown a yellow flaming sun, and in the middle of the green part there are yellow branches of pine and oak crossed by cuttings. ”

The name of the district and the name of the administrative center of the district of the working village of Terenga of Tatar origin. The name comes from the Turkic words "teren" - deep and "ghoul" - lake, beam, river. The relief of the region is an elevated, in some places wavy-hilly plain, divided by small rivers, ravines and gullies into different watersheds. These places are very beautiful because of the numerous oak forests and pine forests (a third of the area is occupied by forests). All this was reflected in the flag of the Terengulsky district, whose symbols are ambiguous:

- a depression in the middle of the green part of the banner - a vowel confirmation of the name of the district and its administrative center;

- the sun rising under the beam - a symbol of light, heat, life - symbolizes the bright future of the region and its inhabitants;

- pine and oak branches - a symbol of the natural beauty of these places, a symbol of developed forestry and woodworking enterprises of the region.

Red color is a symbol of labor, courage, life-affirming power, beauty and celebration.

Green color symbolizes spring, health, nature, youth and hope.

Yellow color ( gold ) is a symbol of the highest value, greatness, wealth, and harvest.

The first flag of the municipality "Terengulsky district" was approved on December 26, 2006 by decision of the Council of Deputies of the municipality "Terengulsky district" No. 31/243 ^[2] .

The flag description read: “The flag of the municipality“ Terengulsky district ”is a rectangular cloth, three quarters of the upper part are red, 1/4 of the lower part of the flag is green, separated by a thin white line. The ratio of the length of the flag to its width is 3: 2. In the center of the flag is an image of the coat of arms of the municipality “Terengulsky district”.
