Biography

From an old noble family . The son of a major general.

At the end of the Page Corps in 1896, he was graduated as a cornet in the Primorsky Equestrian Division .

On January 1, 1909, he was the staff captain of the 182nd infantry reserve Grokhovsky regiment , with whom he entered the First World War . By the highest order of June 1, 1915, Captain Nazimov was awarded the Order of St. George , 4th class

 Because during the attack, on the night of November 12, 1914, the enemy’s fortified position, near the village of Gurka-Stongnevskaya, led the company with its example and brought it to a bayonet strike in a completely open area under strong gun and machine gun fire for 1½ versts; captured the trenches and from the battle captured two machine guns, 4 officers and 59 lower ranks. 

In the Civil War he participated in the White movement in the south of Russia . In December 1917 he joined the Volunteer Army . On January 8, 1918 he was appointed assistant commander of the Student Battalion , newly formed in Rostov . Participated in the 1st Kuban campaign in the Officer Regiment . In March 1918 he was appointed commander of the 2nd battalion of the Officer Regiment. Later - the assistant commander of the 1st Officer Markov Regiment, Colonel. He served in the Markov Division as part of the Armed Forces of Southern Russia and the Russian Wrangel Army until the evacuation of Crimea . He was promoted to major general. He was evacuated from Sevastopol on the ship Inkerman. Gallipoli . In the fall of 1925 - as part of the Markov Regiment in Bulgaria.

In exile in Yugoslavia. During the Second World War he served in the Russian Corps . After the war he lived in Germany. He died in 1949 in Munich.

Family

He was married to Nadezhda Georgievna Tvertsyna (1889-1968). Their sons:

  • George (1923–2014), cunker of the company of pre-conscription training of youth of the ROVS, served in the Russian Corps, lieutenant. After the Second World War, he moved with his mother to the United States, an entrepreneur, deputy chairman of the EMRO .
  • Nikolai (1920-1945), cunker of the company for pre-conscription training of youth of the ROVS, served in the Russian Corps, second lieutenant, was killed near Busovache on February 24, 1945.
