Impostor ( Hindi चोरी चोरी , Chori Chori ) is an Indian romantic film directed by Milan Luthria and released on August 1, 2003 . The main roles were played by Rani Mukherjee and Ajay Devgan . The picture has no connection with the 1956 film of the same name. The plot is borrowed from the Hollywood movie " Mistress of the house " (1992). Slogan: "From jealousy to love, just one step."

Content
Story
The architect Ranbir built his dream home and on his doorstep made an offer to his friend Puja. However, she refused him. Trying to survive this, Ranbir spoke about the house of a randomly met waitress Khushi. When the Khushi was kicked out of the rented apartment the next day for non-payment, she decided to move to the empty Ranbir house. Having met his family, she lied to them that she was the bride of their son. The returning Ranbir first decided to expel the impostor, but then thought that using it could cause jealousy and bring back the Puja.

Interesting facts
- In the process of filming, the producer of the picture died. As a result, the film had to be released only a year later.
- Sonali Bendre's first film after marriage. The second project of the director Milan Luthria after the hit film "Brotherly Ties" (1999). The first comic role is Rani Mukherjee.
- The role of Khushi was to be played by Karina Kapoor , however, due to problems with the release date of the film, she had to abandon the project.
