Nino De Angelo (real name - Domenico Gerhard Gorgolone; born 1963) is a German singer of Italian-German descent, his hit "Guardian Angel" ( Jenseits von Eden ) in 1983 reached number one on the charts in Germany, Austria, France. In 1989, he worked with Dieter Bohlen , and also performed at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Flieger”. From 2001 to 2003 he was the backing vocalist of Modern Talking . In total, he recorded 19 studio albums in German, English and Italian.
