Gyrtop (Transnistria)

Gyrtop is a village in the Grigoriopol district of the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldavian Republic . The administrative center of the Gyrtopsky village council , which in addition to the village of Gyrtop also includes the villages of Bruslaki , Mariyan and Mokryaki .

The area of ​​the village is about 2.69 km 2 , the perimeter is 13.39 km. The village is located at a distance of 15 km from the city of Grigoriopol and 65 km from Chisinau .

Population

According to 2007 data, 405 people lived in the village of Gyrtop. For 2015 - 568 people. [3]

History

The first documented mention of the village of Gyrtop was dated 1877 .

In the Soviet period , a collective farm was organized here. An eight-year school, a club with a film installation, a library, an atelier for public services, a post office, a kindergarten, and a shop were opened in the village of Gyrtop.
