Nikolai Mikhailovich Bogolyubov (1872, Pavlovsk, Glukhov volost , Ardatov uyezd , Nizhny Novgorod province - 1934, Gorky ) - archpriest of the Russian Orthodox Church , theologian and spiritual writer.

Biography

The son of a priest of the Nizhny Novgorod province, a graduate of the Moscow Theological Academy; Theology teacher at the Nizhny Novgorod Theological Seminary. The main topics of scientific works are theological and philosophical aspects of religion. Member of the Local Council of the Russian Orthodox Church 1917-1918

Father of Soviet scientists Nikolai , Alexei and Mikhail Bogolyubov. In 1928-1930 arrested [1] . In 1998, in the Nizhny Novgorod Church of the Most Merciful Savior , the rector of which in 1925-1934. was Bogolyubov, a memorial plaque was installed.
