Jura Meshterović ( Serb. Ураura Meshteroviћ / Đura Mešterović ; May 18, 1908 , Srpski Itebei - June 15, 1990 , Belgrade ) - Yugoslav Serbian military commander, colonel general of medical forces, chairman of the Committee of the Red Cross of the SFRY.

Biography
Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. From 1937 to 1939 in Spain he participated in the civil war on the side of the Republicans. Member of the CPY since 1938.
On the fronts of the People’s Liberation War of Yugoslavia since 1941, he was the head physician of the partisan hospitals in Zabljak and Foch. Later, he headed the sanitary team of the 1st proletarian division of the NOAU. He was the head of a medical military mission in Italy, and has been to the USSR several times.
After the war, the head of the sanitary service of the Yugoslav People’s Army and the chairman of the Committee of the Red Cross of the SFRY. He was awarded a number of orders and medals.
