Story

Season 1

The story begins with the return home of a soldier after 17 years in Syrian captivity. Nimrod Klein and Uri Zack returned alive, along with the remains of Amiel Ben-Horin.

The series explores the reintegration of Nimrod and Uri into a society that made them national symbols, and into an interrupted family life, against the background of post-traumatic syndrome after being tortured in captivity. They rebuild relationships with loved ones who were waiting for them, or vice versa, resigned to the loss, to children who grew up without them, and mourn parents who died during their absence. They must also undergo a psychiatric examination and an official hearing. When a military psychiatrist finds inconsistencies in their stories, an investigation is conducted to find out what they are hiding.
