Stase A. Ingaunytė ( lit. Stasė Ingaunytė ; March 11, 1944 , Skeiriai) - Soviet and Lithuanian draftswoman , USSR champion in Russian drafts among women in 1976, silver medalist of the USSR championship in 1980, three-time champion of the USSR in drafts among blind and visually impaired women ( 1971, 1981, 1989). Six - time champion of Lithuania in Russian drafts (1971, 1974, 1976, 1978, 1991, 1993). Master of Sports of the USSR (1977). She played for the sports society " альalgiris ".

Biography

Stas learned to play checkers in childhood. In the second grade of school, her vision began to deteriorate, the treatment did not help, she moved to Vilnius to a boarding school for poorly seeing children. In the fifth grade, Stasa completely lost her sight, but did not give up drafts. In 1973 she graduated from the correspondence department of the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University, she worked as a teacher in the special class of blind children in evening school. Since 1992 he has been working as an editor of the audio journal of the Lithuanian Blind Society. She was awarded the medal for sports merit (1994).
