History

The station was built on the Malbork - Kaliningrad railway line in 1852 , when the city of Elblag was part of the Kingdom of Prussia . Built in 1893, the second line Elblag - Myslice was dismantled in 1945 . The third line was built in 1889 on the section Elbl --g - Elblлонg Miasto - Elblлонg-Zdrój and was dismantled in 1958 - 1982 . The steam train depot built together with the station was used by the railway until the 40s of the XX century. Overhaul of the station was carried out in 2010 - 2011 .

Title

The station names have changed: Elbing ( German: Elbing ) since 1852, Elblлонg-Glavny ( Polish Elbl .g Głowny ) since 1944 , the current name since 1948 .
