Biography

Khazi Akkuskarov came from the Bashkirs of the Yurmatinsky volost of the Nogai road .

In the summer of 1706, together with Aldar Isyangildin, he organized the Bashkir embassy, ​​headed by Murat Sultan, in the Crimean Khanate and the Ottoman Empire to hold talks on armed support for the rebels.

In February 1709, in the Yurmatinsky volost, the Bashkirs gathered on yiyyn , where they swore allegiance to Khazi Khan in the Qur'an and vowed to continue the struggle. A.-Z. Validi clarifies that the yiyyin passed on the Sikazia River, which flows into Zigan , at the traditional place of popular congresses, called the “Khazi Mosque” [1] .

In 1708, the rebel Bashkirs led by Aldar Isekeyev, along with Khazi Akkuskarov, fought against the army of the governor Prince P.I. Khovansky in the Kazan district . Here is what the captive participant in the uprising Bulyak Akbulatov told about this during interrogation in February 1708: [2]

“... And Saltan-Khazia was laid down by the Bashkirs, so that the thieves of the Bashkirs and the Kazan district were tarted to slaughter Russian people and all the districts of the Gentiles were outraged and connected to Kazan by all people. And taking de Kazan, that thief Saltan-Hazyu to be in Kazan ... "

The further fate of Khazi Akkuskarov is unknown.
