Colchicum antepense (lat.) Is a species of monocotyledonous plants of the genus Colchicum ( Colchicum ) of the colchicum family ( Colchicaceae ). It was first described by the German botanist Karin Persson in 2007 [2] , along with three other species of colchicum [3] .

Distribution Description
Endemic to Turkey , common in the central and southern parts of the country [4] . A typical specimen is assembled in Gaziantep [5] . It occurs in temperate mixed forests [6] .
