Kalaphorura ludzaki (lat.) Is a species of springtail of the genus Kalaphorura of the family Onychiuridae . First described by zoologists Maria Louise Weiner and Norbert Stomp in 2005. The species epithet is given in honor of the Pole Anthony Ludzak, who moved to Luxembourg after World War II and participated in the arrangement of the garden, in which the species was discovered [1] .

It is endemic to Luxembourg [2] , although there is an assumption that Kalaphorura ludzaki can be distributed much wider in Central Europe [3] . Typical specimens from Bashleidan , collected in the old garden [1] .
An ordinary representative of the genus Kalaphorura , closest to the species Kalaphorura paradoxa Schäffer . Females 1.87-2.35 mm long, males 1.73-2.06 mm long. The body is whitish in color (in alcohol). The ventral section in males has been lost [1] .
