Siren Charms is the eleventh album of Swedish metal band In Flames [6] [7] . The album was released on September 5th and September 9th in the United States via Sony Music Entertainment .

The eighth song “Rusted Nail” became the main single that was released on June 13, 2014. The album cover was drawn by Blake Armstrong, the author of Space Boy Comics. Soon after the release of this single, “Through Oblivion” is released. On September 9, 2014, the band released a video for the song “Everything's Gone”. The album marks a significant departure from the previous sound, instead of a wider use of pure vocals and has a more pop / alternative rock style, while also using some moderate melodic sound from their previous album.
The album was negatively accepted by a significant part of the fans, who noted the decline of In Flames creativity, a significant departure from the style of their early works, pop sound and commercialization. Despite this, he reached the top of the Swedish albums chart (Sverigetopplistan) and also ranked first on the American Top Hard Rock Albums chart.
"When The World Explodes" was the fifth In Flames song with the presence of female guest vocals (the others were Everlost pt. 2 from Lunar Strain, Whoracle from Whoracle, Metaphor from Reroute to Remain and Dead End from Come Clarity ), this time performed by Swedish singer Emilia Feldt.
This is the last album recorded with drummer Daniel Svensson, who left the band in November 2015.
