History

According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Staraya Silovaya was part of the Pash village council of the Volkhov district [2] [3] [4] .

In 1997, 42 people lived in the village of Staraya Silovaya, Pasha volost, in 2002 - 36 people (Russian - 97%) [5] [6] .

In 2007, in the village of Staraya Silovaya Pashsky SP - 32, in 2010 - 41 people [7] [8] .

Geography

The village is located in the north-eastern part of the district on the highway 41K-021 ( Pasha - Chasovenskoye - Kayvaksa ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 9 km [7] .

The distance to the nearest Pasha railway station is 5 km [2] .

The village is located on the right bank of the Pasha River.
