History

According to the data of 1966 and 1973, the village of Main Zapan was part of the Pash village council of the Volkhov district [2] [3] .

According to 1990, the village of Main Zapan was part of the Rybezh village council [4] .

In 1997, 161 people lived in the village of Glavny Zapan of the Rybezh parish, in 2002 - 116 people (Russians - 94%) [5] [6] .

In 2007, in the village of Main Zapan of the Pash joint venture - 122, in 2010 - 109 [7] [8] .

Geography

The village is located in the north-eastern part of the region near the highway 41K-021 ( Pasha - Chasovenskoye - Kayvaksa ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 12 km [7] .

The distance to the nearest Pasha railway station is 9 km [2] .

The village is located on the right bank of the Pasha River.
