Career

Playing for the youth squad of Internacional , Ramon won the Brazilian youth championship in 2006 (playing together with Alexandre Pato ), thanks to which he quickly moved to the first team. In 2008, Ramon won the Gausha League and the South American Cup . Unable to gain a foothold in the first Inter team, Ramon was leased to Vasco da Gama in 2009.

In Vasco da Gama Ramon became the best left back and the opening of the Carioca League 2009 [3] . Many fans called Ramon “Vasco Warrior” for his speed and organized play in position. Ramon played an important role in the victory in Serie B , this helped Vasco da Gama return to the elite of Brazilian football.

In 2010, Ramon wanted to continue playing at Vasco da Gama, but the club did not sign a new agreement with Internacional, and the left back returned to Beira Rio [4] . Ramon trained separately from the team due to disagreements with the leadership, he did not want to play for Internacional again [5] . After spending a short time in his native club, Ramon returned to Vasco da Gama, with whom he signed a four-year contract [6] . On July 5, 2011, Rodrigo Caetano, the sports director of Vasco da Gama, issued Ramon's departure from the club [7] .

The new club of Ramon became Corinthians . Shortly after winning the Libertadores Cup with the new club, Ramon was leased to Flamengo until the end of 2013 with the possibility of redemption [8] . On July 11, 2012, Ramon was introduced to the fans and received a T-shirt with number 6 [9] .

Ramon scored his first goal for Flamengo in the match against São Paulo at Morumbi , the red-blacks lost 4-1. Nevertheless, his transition to Flamengo was ambiguous, Vasco fans evaluated this step extremely negatively. The player was verbally attacked by Vasco fans; on the Internet he was called a traitor. Ramon was booed by fans in a game against his former club at the Engenyan . Ramon has always been a favorite not only of Vasco fans, but also of the club management and other players. The love of Vasco fans cooled when Ramon went to Flamengo.

On September 3, 2013, after Andre Santos came to Flamengo, Ramon lost his place at the base of the Red-Blacks and was leased to Besiktas for a year. Leaving Flamengo, the player thanked the club [10] . After a successful season with the Turkish club in June 2014, Ramon signed a three-year contract with Besiktas [11] . In the middle of the 2015/16 season, Mott agreed a 2.5-year contract with Antalyaspor [12] [13] [14] .
