Niobium distannide forms crystals of rhombic syngony , space group F ddd , cell parameters a = 0.9874 nm, b = 0.5626 nm, c = 1.9116 nm, Z = 16, structure like copper-doped magnesium CuMg 2 [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] .
The compound is formed by a peritectic reaction at a temperature of 845 ° C [3] .
At a temperature of 2.68 K it transforms into a superconducting state [7] .
