The Supreme Court of the Republic of Yemen is the highest court in Yemen, located in Sana'a . The Supreme Court of Yemen is divided into 8 divisions: constitutional, appeal, criminal, military, civil, family, commercial and administrative. As the highest court, the Supreme Court considers appeals against decisions on military disciplinary, as well as civil, personal, administrative, and commercial cases, as well as final judgments in criminal cases. As a constitutional court, the Supreme Court has the power to monitor the constitutionality of laws, by-laws, decrees, decrees, and decrees; resolve conflicts of jurisdiction between courts of law; resolve cases concerning disputed election results [1] . In addition, the Supreme Court in the first instance considers claims against the President , Vice-President , Prime Minister , their deputies and ministers. The meetings are held in an open format, not counting the cases when the Court is sitting behind closed doors for reasons of security or public morality. At the same time, absolutely all court verdicts are published openly. The budget of the Court is approved by the Supreme Judicial Council.
