Biography
Born in 1901 in the small French town of Corsio , Vosges . Mother was from Alsace , she died in the spring of 1914 . My father is from Lorraine , worked as a teacher in the school, with the outbreak of the First World War he was mobilized in the army. The young boy, who was practically without parents, was sheltered by his mother's parents in Nancy , where Usson received secondary education, and also studied at the conservatory. In 1921 he moved to Paris , entered the Higher Normal School , which he graduated in 1924 . Further, Uusson held various administrative posts, received a doctorate, and gradually specialized in the physiology of the larynx . Raoul Husson was the founder and secretary general of the French Association for the Study of Phonation and Language. He lectured at the Sorbonne. In 1967, hit by a car in a French seaside resort.
Nicolas Bourbaki
In 1923, Raul Usson, as an undergraduate, decided to play out young students by collecting them and announcing that he was going to give lectures on the proof of “Nicolas Bourbaki's theorem” (nonexistent in reality) [2] . Later, from this circle of young people a group of influential scientists and mathematicians grew up, who took the collective pseudonym Nicolas Bourbaki .
Neurochronactic theory of voice formation
In the 1950s, Raoul Usson proposed his theory explaining the operation of the vocal folds. According to the neurochronax theory, the work of the vocal folds is carried out by the action of nerve impulses coming from the cerebral cortex to the vocal muscles. Neurochronactic theory is controversial and has not received universal recognition.
