Pinalia dasypus

Pinalia dasypus (lat.) Is a species of monocotyledonous plants of the genus Pinalia of the Orchidaceae family ( Orchidaceae ). Under the current taxonomic name was described by the German botanist Otto Kunze in 1891 [2] .

The synonymous name is basionym - Eria dasypus Rchb.f. [2] .

Distribution Description

It is considered endemic to Myanmar [3] [4] , but the type specimen was collected in the current territory of the Khao Yai National Park in Thailand [5] . It occurs in tropical rainforests [6] .

Epiphytic plant [3] . The pseudobulb is short, cylindrical, red-brown in color, carries 2-3 sheets. Inflorescence with 3-4 white flowers 9 mm in size [4] .
