Content
Story
The young writer from Hamburg, Juliana Thomas, comes to visit her uncle Julius, a Berlin dentist, to distract from unpleasant thoughts after breaking up with his friend Jurgen. Working as an assistant in the dental office of Uncle Julius, Juliana met a very unceremonious patient with the characteristic nickname Buffel ("Buffalo"), complaining of a sharp toothache. Buffel is accompanied by a friend, the charming Zurich doctor Jean Berner, in whom Julchen falls head over heels at first sight. An accidental acquaintance would not have continued if, after some time, Juliana had not been invited to present her script at one of the film studios, written based on the love story of a dental assistant and a Zurich doctor. The director, who was planning to make a movie according to the script of Juliana, is the very unpleasant Buffel, who in reality is called Paul Frank.
However, Juliana, as it turns out, liked Buffel. He observes a lie in Juliana’s statement that she is getting engaged in Zurich for Christmas, and uses this story invented by Juliana as a convenient occasion to invite her to get to Zurich in his car, as he himself is going to celebrate New in St. Moritz year .
Hoping to meet again with Buffel's friend Jean Juliana agrees to go with Buffel. In order not to stay in Zurich, she comes up with a story that her engagement is postponed due to the death of the groom's father. Thus, the path to Jean is open, and the comedy of provisions in the interpretation of Helmut Koytner begins.
