Bratusha District ( Moldavian raionul Brătușeni ) is an administrative-territorial unit of the Moldavian SSR , which existed from November 11, 1940 to June 1959 .

History
Like most regions of the Moldavian SSR , formed on November 11, 1940 , the center is the village of Bratushany . Until October 16, 1949, it was part of the Balti district , after the abolition of the county division was transferred to direct republican subordination.
From January 31, 1952 to June 15, 1953, the district was part of the Balti district , after the abolition of the division of the district again passed into direct republican subordination.
In June 1959, the Bratushansky District was liquidated, most of its territory was transferred to the Edinet District , the smaller - to the Ryshkansky District .
Administrative division
As of January 1, 1955, the Bratushansky district consisted of 11 village councils : Bratushansky , Varatik , Gasporsky , Zabrichansky , Zaykansky , Korpachsky , Parkovsky , Pochumbensky , Starokokoneshtsky , Stolnichansky and Terebnovsky . [one]
